Calling local creatives: help us design a new Out to Lunch logo

Worcester’s Out to Lunch Festival and Farmers’ Market, hosted Thursday afternoons at the Worcester Common Oval, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary! The City of Worcester, in partnership with the Worcester Cultural Coalition, is seeking a new logo to promote the Out to Lunch concert series.
We’re inviting local artists, students, and festival participants to design a new Out to Lunch logo which reflects the festival’s creative, inclusive and cultural significance on the Common Oval and in the Worcester community.
Design must include the text “Out to Lunch”
Participant(s) must be a resident of Worcester County and at least 18 years of age
All content must be original
Offensive imagery and material will automatically disqualify submitted work
Participant(s) may include up to 3 submissions
Image resolution should be between 72 DPI and 300 DPI
Image must be no more than 1024 pixels wide and no more than 768 pixels high
The deadline for proposals is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019.
$150 Dollar Cash Prize: Participant(s) selected as winner of rebranding campaign receives a $150 dollar cash prize.
Logo will be featured across major social media platforms, event advertising campaigns, and marketing materials distributed across community
By proposing and submitting their work, contest participants grant the City of Worcester and the Worcester Cultural Coalition unlimited rights of use to the work including, but not limited to, print and digital channels indefinitely.
The Worcester Cultural Coalition will offer a stipend of $150 dollars in addition to giving credit to artist(s) for selected designs in the announcement of the selection process.
Artists may utilize any medium that can be digitized.
Full color vectorized logo submissions must be submitted to the Worcester Cultural Coalition Submitable website page by the deadline 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 25th, 2019. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns. Winning logo will be selected by March 1, 2019 and winning participant(s) will be informed on/before that date.
The City of Worcester reserves the rights to select candidate/candidates and/or to utilize a third party advertising company based on suitability of submissions.
