The Worcester Cultural Coalition ( WCC) is a public-private partnership established in 1999 between the City of Worcester and twelve cultural organizations. Today membership stands at 75 organizations, accounting for more than 2.7 million visitors to Worcester in calendar 2015, up from 1.5 million in 2006.
Our mission is to draw on Worcester’s rich and diverse cultural assets to foster economic revitalization, support active, creative engagement for all and promote a strong cultural identity for Greater Worcester.
Out to Lunch Logo Contest
In partnership with the City of Worcester, the WCC is proud to celebrate 10 years of Out to Lunch Festivals on the Worcester Common Oval. We are currently seeking a new logo to promote the festival series and reflect on many great years of performance, food, culture, and community during the summer event.
Worcester Windows Program
The (WCC) supports the Worcester Windows Community Gallery which showcases art exhibitions by local artists throughout the year. The gallery is located in the basement level gallery of City Hall.
Worcester Windows is funded and supported by the Worcester Cultural Coalition, the City of Worcester, and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
Out to Lunch Festival and Farmers' Market 2019 Intermission Participation Survey
The City of Worcester, and the Worcester Cultural Coalition, invite you to participate in the Out to Lunch Festival and Farmers’ Market, located on the historic Worcester Common Oval in downtown Worcester. The Out to Lunch Festival and Farmers' Market runs every Thursday from June 20, 2019 through August 29th (with the exception of July 4, 2019). The 10-week concert series brings music, local food and produce, and art to downtown. This year we are celebrating 10 years of the festival series! There are a few slots left for this summer's intermission performance set list.
In preparation for another incredible year, we are currently securing community organization and youth intermission act performances to showcase Worcester’s creative community and youngest talents to hundreds of downtown workers and residents. Intermission performances should run from 15-20 minutes.
In 2018, we attracted approximately 500 people per week, which ranged from downtown professionals, families, and visitors. With your participation, we will continue to successfully grow the festival series and celebrate community in Worcester.
